Why Spectrum Driver Training?

Learning to drive can seem quite complicated, our Female & Male instructors at Spectrum have extensive experience and our aim is to provide you with a experience in preparing you for your test and ultimately a lifetime of safe and happy motoring. Spectrum Driver Training Nottingham, established by Jackie Ellis with the aim of making learning to drive both safe and FUN. You learn quicker when you’re enjoying yourself, and we go out of our way to ensure learning to drive, which some can find a scary prospect, can be easier than you think.

With Spectrum, when you book an hour’s lesson you get an hour’s lesson. We don’t believe in car sharing and won’t waste last 10 minutes of your valuable time picking up the next pupil.

All our instructors are reliable and friendly with local area knowledge and can offer Theory test coaching as well as post test and motorway training.

So what do I do now?

First things first, before you can even get into a car and start learning to drive, you have to get hold of a provisional licence. To apply for this, you must complete the application form D1 that's available from either the 'Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) form ordering service', or from your local Post Office. It takes about 4 weeks for your application to be processed and for your licence to be sent to you - so if you want to start learning as soon as you hit 17, make sure you apply early!
